Dean Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
WESTFIELD, MA -- On Monday, the MASCAC announced their weekly awards for baseball. Buccaneers freshman pitcher Hunter Dean was named Rookie of the Week for his performance last week. This is the second time this season that Dean was named Conference Rookie of the Week.
Dean pitched a complete game shutout on Saturday in a 6-0 win over MCLA in conference to sweep the Trailblazers and pick up his fifth win on the mound. He allowed just three hits with four walks and seven strikeouts.
