Baseball Picked 6th in the MASCAC Preseason Poll

Westfield, Mass. -- Thursday afternoon the MASCAC released the 2022 Baseball Preseason poll. The Buccaneers have been voted to finish 6th this season, the final playoff spot in the conference.

Of the 6th place selection in the preseason poll, 7th-year head coach Mike Kelley said, "Our guys know there is work to do and it is going to take hard work to climb past our expectations."

Due to shortened seasons in 2020 and 2021 the Buccaneers will play their first MASCAC game since 2019 this season. In 2019, the team finished 11-27, 8-13 in conference, narrowly missing the playoffs with a seventh place finish ahead of MCLA.

Buc Ball opens their season on Saturday, February 26th in the Sunshine State against Palm Beach State.
