Kelley Records 100th Career Head Coaching Win

BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- With the Buccaneers 9-5 win over Clark on Friday, eighth-year head coach and Milford, MA native Mike Kelley has reached the 100 career head coaching milestone.

Former Buccaneer two-sport athlete, 2009 Maritime Hall of Fame inductee and current Director of Athletics Mike Kelley took over the Buccaneers baseball program ahead of the 2016 season after the retirement of longtime head coach Bob Corradi. Kelley has coached six full seasons at the helm for the Bucs with one season cancelled due to COVID and the other shortened for the same reason. In his six full seasons as head coach his teams have reached the 24+ win mark twice, earned the MASCAC Regular Season Co-Championship in 2018 and made it to the MASCAC Championship Round in 2022. His first win came on February, 28th, 2016 against Elizabethtown on the team's Spring trip to Florida.

Kelley was met with applause and a Gatorade bath from his players after the final out of the team's win over Clark on Friday afternoon.
