BOSTON, Mass -- Buccaneers sailing shipped up to Boston over the weekend to compete in the Morris Trophy at Boston University. In a field of 16 teams the Bucs came across the finish line in 11th through 24 events.

URI won the Morris Trophy finishing with 97 points, the only team to finish with less thn 100 points. Brown University's two boats finished second and third. Hosts Boston University came in eigth place with 186 points.

The Buccaneers finished in 11th place in the regatta with 234 points, 32 points off the pace of Merchant Marine and one point ahead of Northeastern in 12th.
