BURLINGTON, VT -- The Buccaneers took to Lake Champlain in Vermont over the weekend in the Ross Trophy hosted by the University of Vermont. UVM claimed the top two spots in the two day event with 51 and 67 points respectively from their two boats.

It was a sunny, gusty weekend in Burlington for the field of nine boats with winds between eight and 12 knots. The teams completed six races on Saturday and six on Sunday. 

The Buccaneers finished sixth with 118 points. Maine Maritime finished ahead of the Bucs with 92 points. Maritime beat out UNH, UMass and Middlebury for the sixth spot on the weekend.
