Sailing: Buccaneers Off-Shore Team Finished 8th at Shield Trophy
ANNAPOLIS, MD -- The Buccaneers off-shore sailing team traveled to the Naval Academy on Saturday to take part in the Shield Trophy, one of a handful of big events in Annapolis in the fall. In a field of 10 teams, Navy took home first place with 17 points.
Maritime finished the trophy in eighth place with 45 total points, two points ahead of Queen's University out of Ontario, Canada. The Bucs finished nine points behind SUNY Maritime who finished in seventh with 36 points.
