Women's Soccer Records Program Best 4th Point in Conference with Draw Against Rams

FRAMINGHAM, Mass -- Women's soccer traveled to Framingham for a conference match with the Rams on Saturday morning. A win for the Bucs in the match would have solidified their first conference playoff appearance in program history. In the end, the Bucs drew 0-0 and kept their playoff hopes alive.

               Framingham (1-11-1, 1-4-1)

 

Inside The Numbers

Maritime

  • Matilda Laux recorded the only shot on goal by the Buccaneers in the match. Laux and Abigail Lelievre each had two shots.
  • Goalkeeper Reagan Kerecz kept a clean sheet in the match, her second of the season and first in conference, with six saves.
  • In total, the Bucs took seven shots, one of target, and had one corner that came in the second half.

Framingham

  • Grayson Tellier led all players with six shots in the game. Victoria Potter led the team in shots on goal with two. Four other Rams had a shot on target.
  • Goalkeeper Regan Fein kept a clean sheet, her first of the season, making one save in the process.
  • In total, Framingham took 17 shots, six on goal and had six corner kicks, three in each half.

How It Happened

The teams combined for 12 shots in each half with the Rams outshooting the Buccaneers 8-4 in the first half and 9-3 in the second half. The teams had their chances in each half but were unable to capitalize. The match ended in a 0-0 draw with each team taking a point in conference from the game.
