Brecher Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
WESTFIELD, Mass -- Monday afternoon, the MASCAC announced their women's soccer weekly awards and for the second time this season a Buccaneer has been named Rookie of the Week!
Freshman forward Shannon Brecher scored her first-career goal in the Buccaneers' 1-1 draw with Fitchburg State on Friday night. Her 32nd minute goal gave the Buccaneers a 1-0 lead in the first half that the Bucs held until the 71st minute. She recorded eight shots with four on target in the 1-0-1 week for the Buccaneers.
