How It Happened

The Privateers controlled most of this game, keeping the ball in their offensive end and methodically holding on to possession. They scored four goals in each of the first three periods and two in the fourth.

Maritime chomped at the bit on all of their chances though a stingy SUNY defense did not allow DiScipio or the rest of the Academy offense to get anything going. DiScipio scored her goal in the first and that would be the only one of the day for the Bucs.

SUNY takes a 14-1 win over the Bucs in to their matinee tomorrow against Maine Maritime.

What's Next

The Buccaneers will host Maine Maritime on Sunday at 12pm in the final of the 2022 Maritime Cup.
