Westfield, Mass -- Wednesday Afternoon the MASCAC released their 2022 Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll. The Buccaneers have been voted to finish 5th by the coaches of the conference. A 5th place finish would secure a playoff spot for the Bucs in this years MASCAC playoff tournament.

Of the 5th place selection, 6th year head coach Marc Palombo said, "The plan is to win the games we're supposed to and hopefully surprise some people along the way."

The Bucs will open their season against anna Maria College at home on Tuesday, March 1st at 7pm. They'll play their first MASCAC contest since 2019 on April 2nd on the road against Fitchburg State.
