NEW HAVEN, Conn. --  Junior Nicole Accera (East Haven,Conn.) registered eight kills and five digs to lead Albertus Magnus to a 3-0 non-league college volleyball victory over Massachusetts Maritime Tuesday evening by game scores of 25-14, 25-14 and 25-14 in a contest played at the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.

Junior Lily Dy (Torrington, Conn.) added four kills and four digs for the host Falcons (5-5), who also received four kills each from junior Melissa Manning (Milford, Conn.) and freshman Kelsey Pendagast (Shelton, Conn.) as well as 19 set assists from senior Krista LaBissioniere (Meriden, Conn.).

Freshman Emily Calnan (Hingham, Mass.) registered a pair of kills and four digs in the setback for the visiting Buccaneers (1-8), who also received seven digs and three set assists from junior Michaela Garrity (Tiverton, R.I.).  Freshmen Kelsey Black (Plympton, Mass.) and Marissa Boudreau (New Bedford, Mass.) each added seven digs as well for Massachusetts Maritime, which also received five digs and three service aces from sophomore Deb Langley (Abington, Mass.).

Massachusetts Maritime heads to Boston on Thursday evening to take on Suffolk in a non-league match that begins at 7:00 p.m., while Albertus Magnus hosts Great Northeast Athletic Conference foe Emmanuel and Mitchell in a tri-match on Saturday morning at the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center beginning at 11:00 a.m.
