Boston proceeded to tie the game over the next 45 seconds getting goals from Claflin and Prozinski, off the draw, to make it 2-2. Not backing down, the Buccaneers rattled off three goals in a row from Jones, his 100th point of his career, Maida and Lamattina. Down 5-2 with six minutes left in the first, Prozinski scored another to cut the Boston deficit to two goals. Maritime, again, scored three goals in a row from 5:39 to 3:24 of the first with goals from Lally, his first of the season from the Goalie position, Lamattina and Jones on a power play to go up five goals, 8-3, shocking the Beacons.
