Softball Set For 26-Game Regular Season Campaign In Giammalvo's Second Year At Helm
The start of the 2014 Massachusetts Maritime softball season is just under two months away, as second-year Head Coach Megan Giammalvo is set to guide the Buccaneers through a 26-game regular season schedule that begins on Saturday, March 15th with a home twinbill against Lyndon State at Alison Rollins Field beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
Massachusetts Maritime will play 12 home contests (six doubleheaders) this spring, including MASCAC dates with Westfield State, Worcester State and MCLA as well as non-league twinbills with Wentworth and Wheelock. The Buccaneers will hit the road for league games at Fitchburg State, Bridgewater State, Salem State and Framingham State while also taking on Fisher, Becker and Pine Manor in non-conference play.
