Sailing Squads Look To Build On Successful Fall Campaigns With Strong Spring Schedule

After posting a pair of highly successful fall campaigns, both the Buccaneer offshore and dinghy sailing squads will look to achieve even more this spring under the guidance of Director of Sailing Chuck Fontaine, as Massachusetts Maritime will embark on a total of 21 events in March and April.

Massachusetts Maritime begins its spring slate during the weekend of March 7-9 by competing in the prestigious Cal Maritime Los Angeles Harbor Cup on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, and the Buccaneers will also host both the Great Herring Pond Open (March 29-30) and Admiral Alymer’s Trophy (April 5-6) at the Keith Hartford Sailing Center in Bourne.  Additionally, both squads will travel to competition at Salve Regina, MIT, Coast Guard, Boston College, Boston University, MIT, Tufts, Dartmouth, Yale, Rhode Island and UNH during the spring.
