Men's Soccer Set For 17-Match Schedule As Perry's Squad Seeks Fourth Straight Postseason Berth

After earning its third straight post-season appearance last fall, the Massachusetts Maritime men’s soccer program is ready to make another strong run toward a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference championship under the tutelage of veteran Head Coach Greg Perry in 2016.  No strangers to playing a tough schedule, the Buccaneers will embark on a rigorous 17-match slate that includes contests against ranked national and regional competition.

Perry’s crew begins the new year on Thursday, September 1st when Massachusetts Maritime entertains Becker in a non-league clash at Clean Harbors Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m. EDT.  The Buccaneers will also host Anna Maria, UMass Dartmouth, national power Brandeis and UMass Boston in non-conference play while also taking on Bridgewater State, Fitchburg State and MCLA in MASCAC action.

This year’s road schedule features non-league tilts at Wentworth, regional power WPI, Nichols, Salve Regina and rival Coast Guard as well as conference clashes with Worcester State, Salem State, Framingham State and Westfield State.
