Dinghy Sailing Notches Ninth Place Finish At Salve Regina O'Toole Trophy

NEWPORT, R.I. --  The Massachusetts Maritime dinghy sailing team recorded a solid ninth place overall finish among 18 teams competing over the weekend at the 22nd Annual Salve Regina O’Toole Trophy.

 

Junior Kaitlyn Nanartowich (Newport, R.I.) and sophomore Daniel Barry (Dartmouth, Mass.) represented the Buccaneers in the “A” Division, while the sophomore tandem of Camille Aiello (Hamden, Conn.) and Andrew Morgan (Jupiter, Fla.) competed in the “B” Division.  Massachusetts Maritime recorded several top five finishes in both divisions on Saturday before notching two fourth place finishes in Sunday’s action.

 

The Buccaneers will compete next weekend at both the Dartmouth Brian Doyle and New Hampshire Mendums Pond Invitationals that begin on Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
