Levesque Earns Fourth Straight MASCAC Women's Soccer All-Conference Honor With Selection To 2015 Squad

Massachusetts Maritime senior goalkeeper Katie Levesque earned her fourth straight spot on Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer all-conference team that was announced by the league office earlier today, as she copped first-team accolades for a third consecutive campaign for the Buccaneers.

Levesque, a native of Wilmot, N.H. and a graduate of Kearsarge Regional High School, ranked second in the conference with 125 total saves this fall, as she posted four wins and three shutouts while playing in over 1,336 minutes of action.  Levesque, who earned second team all-MASCAC honors as a freshman and has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s Al-Regional squad in each of the last two seasons, holds every goalkeeping record in school history, as he amassed 13 victories and 11 shutouts while recording 620 career saves in nearly 5,400 minutes of play.  Katie becomes the second female athlete in Academy history to earn four all-conference nods, as Buccaneer Hall of Famer Melissa DeValles ’03 did the same in softball from 2000-03.

Levesque helped Head Coach Ray Cabral’s squad match the program record for wins in one season with four triumphs this fall, including three via shutout.
