BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --  Freshman Madison Taylor (Longmeadow, Mass.) scored a pair of goals to lead Massachusetts Maritime to a 3-0 non-league college women’s soccer victory over Daniel Webster Monday evening at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Taylor gave the host Buccaneers (2-2) the only tally they would need in the 18^th minute of play on a feed from junior MacKenzie Wilson (Plymouth, Mass.), and she extended that margin to 2-0 with 4:40 remaining in the opening half on an assist from sophomore Alexandra Sheeran (Weymouth, Mass.) for her team-leading fourth marker of the season.  Junior Aoife Callinan (West Falmouth, Mass.) closed out the scoring for Massachusetts Maritime just 6:15 after intermission, as her unassisted goal came off a deflection in the middle.

Senior Katie Levesque (Wilmot, N.H.) made one save to record her second straight shutout and 12^th career clean sheet in the triumph for the Buccaneers, while freshman Stephanie Evans (Knoxville, Iowa) made 16 stops in the setback for the visiting Eagles (0-3).  Massachusetts Maritime took 26 of the 27 shots on the evening (19-1 on goal), and the hosts held a 15-2 advantage in corner kicks for the contest.

Massachusetts Maritime heads to New London, Conn. on Wednesday evening to take on Coast Guard in a non-league outing that begins at 7:00 p.m., while Daniel Webster hosts Thomas in a non-league match on Saturday afternoon in Nashua, N.H. beginning at Noon.
