BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --  Junior Hannah Davis (Haverhill, Mass.) registered seven kills as Suffolk presented first year Head Coach Noel Moran with her first collegiate victory with a 3-0 non-league college volleyball triumph over Massachusetts Maritime by game scores of 25-12, 25-11 and 25-8 Thursday evening at the Clean Harbors Athletic Center.

Sophomore Maggie Hillman (North Andover, Mass.) added eight service aces, five kills and six digs in the triumph for the visiting Rams (1-4), who also received four kills, three digs and two aces from sophomore Hailey Atkinson (Branford, Conn.) as well as 15 set assists from sophomore Glamarys Sierra (Carolina, P.R.).

Junior Alex Burgess-Chrost (Leominster, Mass.) and freshman Kelsey Pelletier (Bristol, Conn.) each recorded three kills in the setback for the host Buccaneers (0-5), who also received seven digs from sophomore Michaela Garrity (Tiverton, R.I.) as well as seven set assists from freshman Deb Langley (Abington, Mass.).

Massachusetts Maritime hosts Regis and Becker in a non-league tri-match on Saturday afternoon at the Clean Harbors Athletic Center that begins at 3:30 p.m., while Suffolk hosts Norwich and Simmons in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference tri-match on Saturday afternoon at Regan Gymnasium in Boston beginning at Noon.
