BRIDGEWATER, Mass. --  The Massachusetts Maritime volleyball team wrapped up its 2010 season by dropping three non-league outings to Framingham State, Worcester State and host Bridgewater State at the 2010 Bridgewater State Halloween Quad on Saturday afternoon at the Tinsley Center.

Sophomore Suzanne Marino (Kings Park, N.Y.) registered 11 kills, five digs and a solo block on the day for the Buccaneers (1-24), who fell to the host Bears (14-10) by game scores of 25-7, 25-12 and 25-10, to Framingham’s Rams (18-15) by game scores of 25-5, 25-19 and 25-6 in the middle match and to Worcester’s Lancers (15-15) by game scores of 25-9, 25-8 and 25-10 in the finale.

Senior Victoria Presutti (Marshfield, Mass.) closed out her career with nine kills and six digs for Massachusetts Maritime, which also received four kills and 12 digs, respectively, from sophomores Alex Burgess-Chrost (Leominster, Mass.) and Laura Basile (Cambridge, Mass.).

Senior Allison Condino (Fitchburg, Mass.) finished her career by recording 20 set assists on the afternoon for the Buccaneers, who won their first match in nearly four seasons in Head Coach Chris Ratches’ return to the bench this fall.
