Men's Soccer Hosts Inaugural High School Skills Camp

The Massachusetts Maritime men’s soccer program hosted its inaugural three-day pre-season high school camp for over 60 boys from Saint John Paul II, Sandwich and Bourne High Schools earlier this week at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Under the direction of Buccaneer Head Coach Greg Perry, Assistant Coach Rich Rossomando and Saint John Paul II Head Coach Jeff Brooks, the skills camp focused on technical, tactical and physical attributes needed to excel at the high school level.  The three training sessions were divided into soccer fitness, technical & tactical training and other playmaking drills.

“I want to thank Coach Rossomando, Coach Brooks and all of the student-athletes for helping to make this clinic a great success,” Perry said of the camp.  “I look forward to welcoming more teams to campus in the coming years to showcase the Academy’s facilities and opportunities as well as to help prepare teams for their upcoming seasons.”
