Men's Soccer Set To Celebrate Perry's Silver Anniversary Season With Rugged 17-Match Slate

After earning a record fourth straight post-season berth last fall, the Massachusetts Maritime men’s soccer program has plenty of reasons to celebrate its continued success.  The Buccaneers will also celebrate Greg Perry’s 25th year as head coach during the upcoming campaign, which features a 17-match regular season slate against some of the top competition in the region.

Perry’s squad will kick off the 2017 season on Saturday, September 2nd with a non-league contest at Suffolk beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT, and Massachusetts Maritime will open its home schedule on Wednesday, September 6th against Wentworth at Clean Harbors Stadium.  The Buccaneers will also entertain WPI, Nichols, Salve Regina and Coast Guard in non-conference action while also playing host to Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference foes Salem State, Westfield State, Framingham State and Worcester State alongside the banks of the Cape Cod Canal.

Perry’s silver anniversary schedule includes non-league road dates with NCAA Division III national semifinalist Brandeis, UMass Dartmouth, Anna Maria and Dean, while Massachusetts Maritime will venture to Fitchburg State, MCLA and Bridgewater State in MASCAC action.
