In 2010, the Department of Athletics was proud to begin a new tradition and instituted an award that is bestowed annually to a member of the Senior Class who has provided valuable contributions and service to the Buccaneer Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during their time at the Academy.

Alec Goldenberg served as the Regimental Community Service Officer is 2021-2022. He increased the amount of community service opportunities on and off campus by three times this year. He brought a number of events to campus to benefit our military and surrounding communities. He also served as the SAAC Vice-president and helped oversee our efforts in the Bourne and Cape Cod and the Islands community. On the track, he now holds the 800 meter run program record.
