How It Happened

In the 10th minute, the Buccaneers grabbed a 1-0 lead on Carey's goal from McInerney. The lead lasted just five minutes as Winiarski scored off of a rebound in the 15th minute to tie the game at 1-1. The Seahawks fired off 10 more shots in the half but were unable to find the goal. The Bucs were able to get off one other shots, also unable to find the back of the net and the game went to the half time break knotted at 1-1.

In the second half, the Seahawks spared no time breaking the tie scoring their second goal, from Ventura, in the 46th minute of the game. Stingy Salve defense kept the Bucs at bay and the host offense was able to extend their lead to two goals in the 58th minute on Menendez's goal on a ball through the middle of the field. Then, three minutes later, in the 61st minute, Salve added their fourth and final goal on Oggiano's strike from Arpin to make the score 4-1. In the final 29 minutes of play, the Bucs couldn't close the gap and the Swahawks took their 4-1 advantage to the final whistle earning the win over Maritime.
