Men's Soccer: McKay Scores First Career Goal in Loss to Rams

FRAMINGHAM, Mass -- The Buccaneers traveled to Framingham on Saturday morning to take on the Rams in MASCAC play. The Rams scored one in the first to take a 1-0 lead at the half, and though the Bucs scored in the second half, Framingham added four second half goals to win the match 5-1.

Adam McKay scored his first career goal for Maritime in the 74th minute. Myles Isidoro recorded his second assist of the season on the score. Starting goalkeeper Quinn Kelly made three saves and allowed one goal. Nicos Pattihis came in for Kelly and made eight saves while allowing four goals. Freshman keeper Aidan McDonagh made his Buccaneer debut and made two saves in 10 minutes of work. 

Bryce Nardizzi scored three times for the Rams. He scored his first in the 16th minute, second in the 59th and third in the 63rd. Ibrahim Kyeyune scored what would be the game winner in the 56th minute. Emili Ticas added a goal in the 80th minute. Gabriel Padilla, Jared Nardizzi, Bryce Borletto-McCray, and Joshua Monteiro each tallied an assist in the win.

Framingham won the shot battle, outshooting the bucs 35-3. The Rams also had six corner kicks in the match to none for the Bucs.

The Buccaneers are back in Buzzards Bay for their next match on Tuesday, October 18th at 7pm against Coast Guard.
