Maida Receives USILA All-America Nod
LOUISVILLE, KY -- Earlier this week the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced their 2023 All-Americans and Buccaneers senior attackman Mitchell Maida was named a USILA All-America Honorable Mention for his performance during the 2023 season!
Maida receives the honor after being named the Little East Conference (LEC) Co-Offensive Player of the Year and a first team All-LEC nod. The senior scored a career-high 58 goals this season with 21 assists. He picked up 46 ground balls and caused 18 turnovers in 15 games. Maida is the first player in program history to receive an All-America Honorable Mention.
In four seasons with the Buccaneers, Mitch scored 130 goals and tallied 67 assists for a total of 197 points in 39 career games.
