Enthusiasm and excitement are two words that surround the Massachusetts Maritime women’s soccer program heading into the 2013 season, as Head Coach Ray Cabral welcomes back 12 letterwinners (including an all-conference goalie) set to take on a 15-match schedule during his third season at the helm this fall.

The Buccaneers open their campaign by hosting Becker in a non-league outing at Clean Harbors Stadium at 7:00 p.m. EDT, as Massachusetts Maritime will host eight contests alongside the Cape Cod Canal, including clashes with Fisher, Pine Manor and Curry as well as dates with Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference foes Salem State, Fitchburg State, Bridgewater State and MCLA.

Cabral’s crew will hit the road for contests at Regis, Anna Maria, Coast Guard and Wheelock in non-conference action while also heading to Westfield State, Worcester State and Framingham State in league play.
