BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --  Sophomore Jackee Sanchez (Santa Clarita, Calif.) netted a pair of goals and two assists to lead Lesley to a 5-0 non-league college women’s soccer victory over Massachusetts Maritime Saturday afternoon at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Senior Jenna Fralick (Woburn, Mass.) gave the visiting Lynx (3-2) the only goal they would need 9:33 into the contest on a feed from Sanchez, who collected her first marker of the day less than five minutes later on a pass from sophomore Sarah Apgar (Andover, N.J.).  Sophomore Veronica Halen (San Diego, Calif.) converted Sanchez’s second feed of the day in the 25th minute to extend Lesley’s lead to 3-0, and her second tally of the afternoon in the 56th minute of action gave the visitors a four-goal advantage.  Junior Courtney Hopkins (Watertown, Mass.) closed out the scoring for the Lynx with 1:40 to play, as she converted a feed from senior Haley Puckhaber (Lake Placid, N.Y.) to account for the final margin.

Freshman Emileigh Lloyd (Middletown, Pa.) picked up the win in goal without registering a save in 63-plus minutes of play for Lesley, while junior Kim Courcy (Warwick, R.I.) made 20 stops in net in the setback for the host Buccaneers (0-2) as the Lynx had all 35 shots for the match.

Massachusetts Maritime heads to Weston, Mass. on Thursday evening to take on Regis in a non-league match that begins at 5:30 p.m., while Lesley hosts MIT in a non-league outing on Tuesday evening in Cambridge, Mass. that begins at 8:00 p.m.
