Volleyball Loses in Straight Sets to Corsairs
DARTMOUTH, Mass -- The Buccaneers volleyball team traveled to the Southcoast on Tuesday to take on a tough 10-3 UMass Dartmouth squad. The Corsairs had trouble with the Bucs in the second set but took care of their Pirate foes by a final of 3-0.

- Gemma Geisler led the Buccaneers offensively with three kills.
- Shayla Narodowg was the team leader in assists with five on the night.
- Marlo Stark and Audrey Manning each had a service ace.
- Narodowg led the team defensively with seven digs. Manning and Stark had six each.
- At the net, Narodowg recorded the Buccaneers only solo block and she combined with Maliah Servino for another block.
UMass Dartmouth
- Olivia Seutter led all players with 12 kills.
- Skye Peters had a match-high 19 assists and Sabrina Bordone had 12.
- Emily Pogorelec had six service aces and Allison Pate and Peters both had four.
- Defensively, Pogorelec racked up 11 digs to lead all players.
- At the net, Seutter had two block assists with Ella Soutter and Maddie Carter.

The Buccaneers will be back home on Saturday, September 28th to play Fisher College at 5pm as part of Maritime's Homecoming Weekend.
