The Saints went on to outscore the Bucs 7-1 down the stretch and took the first set, 25-20.

The Bucs couldn't hold the Saints back late in the set and the hosts went on to score five points to the Bucs one to take the second set, 25-13.
Set three played out similarly to the first set with the difference being the Buccaneers kept the game close at the start. Emmanuel led by no more than three points and the teams were often tied, 13-13, 14-14, and then 22-22 towards the end. Emmanuel took a 24-22 lead and then gave a point back to Maritime to make the score 24-23. A Buccaneers miscue on the next rally gave the Saints the game win, 25-23, and the match victory, 3-0.
