Classical alum Ford now stars at Mass. Maritime

Former Classical High football standout Richard “Buddy” Ford had a big day for the Massachusetts Maritime football team in its season opener against SUNY Maritime last week.
The 6-0 junior defensive lineman had 10 (6 solo, 4 assisted) tackles for the Buccaneers in a 24-20 win in the Chowder Bowl at Stony Brook. Ford also had a sack and he blocked a field goal attempt in the first quarter. The effort earned Ford a spot on the MASCAC Defensive Honor Roll.
