BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- The Buccaneers women's lacrosse team, under first-year head coach Mikayla Correia, begins their 14-game slate of games in late February. Last season, the Bucs finished 4-11, 1-6 in conference, with wins over Rhode Island College, Husson, Emerson, and MCLA. Coach Correia has brought back eight players from 2023, including captains Cassie Llewellyn, Ally Reddish, and Lindsy Durgin and has added six freshman in to the mix for 2024. 

The Buccaneers begin play this season with a road game in Maine against Maine Maritime on February 24th and will play their home opener on February 28th against Regis College. 

March starts off with two home games against Emerson and Rivier, their final tune-ups before openeing conference play against Framingham State on the road on March 9th. The Bucs remain on the road for their next three following Framingham when they will take on Nichols, UMass Dartmouth, and Curry. Maritime returns home on March 26th for a conference matchup with Bridgewater State and another just three days later against Westfield. 

In April, the team will play four games, three in conference, with the first two on the road in MASCAC play against Salem State and Fitchburg State. They'll come home for a non-conference game against Keene State and close out the regular season with a conference matchp at home against Worcester State on the 12th.
