As the waters around New England continue their annual winter ritual of freezing and thawing, both the Massachusetts Maritime men’s and women’s crew teams are preparing for a six-event spring schedule that will take them around the region under the watchful eye of Head Coach Alex Machi.

The Buccaneers resume their respective 2012-13 slates on Saturday, March 30^th with competition in South Hadley, Mass. against host Amherst and Franklin Pierce.  Machi’s squads will also be in action against the likes of Assumption, Bowdoin, Brandeis, UMass Lowell, Vermont, Wentworth, Clark and Connecticut College and will also host Bryant, Endicott and Roger Williams in home competition on Herring Pond on Sunday, April 14^th.  The season concludes with a trip to the New England Championships on Saturday, May 4^th.
