2010 New England Division III Championships

MEDFORD, Mass. --  Sophomore Chris Sullo (Canton, Mass.) earned all-New England Division III honors for the Massachusetts Maritime outdoor track & field team on Saturday afternoon at the 2010 New England Division III Championships at Tufts’ Dussault Track.

Sullo posted a mark of 1.93 meters to finish fourth in the event, as he matched the second place mark of Williams’ Tomas Kearney but was placed according to missed jumps during the competition.  Sullo bettered his MASCAC championship mark of 1.86 meters set last weekend at the 2010 conference championships at UMass Dartmouth.

Junior Rory O’Donnell (Somerset, Mass.), the 2010 MASCAC triple jump champion, placed 10^th in today’s event, as he posted a mark of 13.35 meters, while fellow junior Meredith Hall (Duxbury, Mass.) finished 16^th in the women’s javelin with a mark of 33.04 meters.

The Buccaneers will compete at the 2010 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday and Friday, May 13-14 that will be hosted by Springfield.
