SOUTH HADLEY, MA -- The Women's rowing team opened their Spring schedule on Saturday morning in South Hadley at the Amherst Invitational. On mostly flat water with a strong head current and moderate tail wind, the Buccaneers varsity fours boat finished in third place.

With a time of 10:15, the Maritime shell finished with a time of 10:15. Their time was 26 second behind the Johnson & Wales boat in second place. Host, Amherst College, won the race with a time of 8:55.

The Buccaneers travel to Merrimack College on Saturday, April 2nd for the Merrimack Scrimmage.
