PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Bucs sailing team commenced the Spring portion of their schedule on Saturday competing in the McMerrick Cup, hosted by Roger Williams, in Rhode Island. The Bucs were strong all day and posted a third place finish in the event beating out Salver Regina and Vermont for the spot.

Skippers Tyler Egeli, Andrew Leshaw, Luke Kenahan, and Zach Earnshaw led the team to their first top three finish of the Spring season. They were edged out by hosts Roger Williams in second and Brown University who finished in the top spot in the event.
