PLYMOUTH, Mass -- The Buccaneers sailing team hosted the Crews Regatta and the C-Invite at Great Herring Pond over the weekend finishing eighth in the C-Invite and 10th in the Crews. 

In the C-Invite, Maritime totaled 88 points bettering Vermont by three points and finished three points behind Salve Regina. The Bucs have four top five finishes, all in the final four races of the event with their best finish, second place, coming in the fina race of the event helping them jump Vermont. 

URI won the event with Conn College finishing in second and Brown rounding out the top three.

In the Crew Regatta, The Buccaneers tallied 69 points to finish in 10th out of the 11 teams in the event. UConn was 11th 16 points behind the Bucs. Maritime was 12 points back of Salve for ninth.

Northeastern won the Regatta with 16 points, URI was second with 17 and Brown finished in third with 38 points.
