The Massachusetts Maritime men’s cross country team is gearing up to make a run at the program’s second Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference crown in just over a decade this fall, as second-year Head Coach Chris Slattery’s Buccaneers will face a rigorous regular season slate that leads up to both league and regional post-season competition.

Slattery’s crew begins the 2016 campaign on Saturday, September 10th at the University of New England Invitational, and following events at both UMass Dartmouth and Gordon, Massachusetts Maritime will host the Lt. Travis J. Fuller Invitational on Saturday, October 1st alongside the Cape Cod Canal.  The Buccaneers will wrap up regular season competition with invitationals at both Westfield State and Emmanuel before heading to Fitchburg State on Saturday, October 29th for the 2016 MASCAC Championships, and the season concludes on Saturday, November 12th with a second visit to Westfield State for the NCAA Division III Regional Championships.
