DURHAM, N.H. -- The Massachusetts Maritime dinghy sailing team posted a pair of top 13 performances over the weekend at the University of New Hampshire Peak Foliage Invitational and the Wellahan Trophy.
Sophomores Priscilla Stoll (Pocasset, Mass.) and Matthew Charpentier (Lunenburg, Mass.), along with freshmen Rob Queisser (Carmel, Ind.) and Leah Saunders (Rochester, Mass.), combined for a ninth place finish at UNH, as only four races were completed due to light wind conditions. Queisser and Carpenter combined for a third place finish as part of six-race docket at the Wellahan Trophy, as the Buccaneers finished 13th of 18 entrants in the competition.
Massachusetts Maritime will compete at the Brown Erwin Schell, Providence Underdog and Coast Guard Nickerson Trophies next weekend.
