Sailing Set To Resume 2012-13 Schedule In Early March Looking For More Success Under Longtime Mentor Fontaine
After completing another successful campaign at both the regional and national levels last fall, the Massachusetts Maritime sailing team is preparing for competition in both its dinghy and off-shore programs for the upcoming spring season under the leadership of longtime Director of Sailing Chuck Fontaine.
The Buccaneers resume their 2012-13 slate with competition at both Cal Maritime and UConn during the weekend of March 9-10, as Massachusetts Maritime will also venture to regattas at MIT, Salve Regina, Coast Guard, Yale, Dartmouth, Boston University and New Hampshire while also hosting the Herring Pond Invitational on Easter Weekend (March 30-31) as well as the 28th Annual Admiral Alymer’s Trophy over the weekend of April 6-7.
