Hanover, N.H.

HANOVER, N.H. --  For the first time in 13 years, the Massachusetts Maritime sailing team competed in an all women’s event, as the Buccaneers took part in the two-day Mrs. Hurst Bowl hosted by Dartmouth.

Junior Kaitlyn Nanartowich (Newport, R.I.), sophomores Priscilla Stoll (Pocasset, Mass.) and Camille Aiello (Hamden, Conn.) and freshman Leah Saunders (Rochester, Mass.) competed in the event, as Nanartowich, Stoll and Aiello also made history as the first three women at the Academy to compete in both dinghy and keel boat regattas.

Massachusetts Maritime will compete at the Boston University Regis Bowl next weekend in Boston.
