For the first time in over four decades, there will be a new leader of the Massachusetts Maritime baseball program next spring. But the new face of the Buccaneers is certainly a familiar one both as a player and coach. Mike Kelley, who shined on the diamond and on the gridiron en route to induction into the Academy’s Athletic Hall of Fame six years ago, has been named as Massachusetts Maritime’s Head Baseball Coach and will assume those duties effective July 1st
Sullo Earns Spots On ABCA All-Region, NEIBA All-New England Baseball Squads

Massachusetts Maritime freshman Logan Sullo has added a pair of accolades to his already impressive rookie season on the diamond, as he earned second team utility spots on both the American Baseball Coaches Association All-New England Region and New England Intercollegiate Baseball Coaches Association All-New England squads that were announced late last week

Bob Corradi will not look beyond the next game. And that day-to-day approach has served the 71-year-old Bourne native well the past four decades-plus at Massachusetts Maritime Academy. In this case, the next game could be his last. His resilient Bucs (17-12) take on host Salve Regina (24-16) in the semifinals of the ECAC Division 3 baseball tournament Saturday morning in Newport, R.I. The winner advances to Sunday’s title game at noon. The Academy is seeking its first crown since 1982
