NCAA Division III New England Region Cross Country Championships at the University of Southern Maine

Men's Cross Country competes at NCAA Regionals at Southern Maine University

The Massachusetts Maritime Academy Men's Cross Country team finished 50th out of 55 teams at the 2017 NCAA Division III New England Region Cross Country Championships hosted by Southern Maine University.  The Buccaneers raced only five runners due to injury and illness.  Robby Galvin, Class of 2020, led the way for Massachusetts Maritime with a time of 30:17.46 followed by Daniel Plumb, Kyle Hansen, Daniel Ryan and Zach Ferreira.  MIT earned the regional title with a score of 81 points, followed by Amherst, Middlebury, Williams and Bates to finish out the top five.  Junior Sam Brunnette, from Plymouth State, led all runners in a time of 25:22.8.
