The Male Athlete of the Year awards is presented to a senior Buccaneer who has achieved so much in their sport and off the field of play in their four years at the Academy.

The 2021-2022 Male Athlete of the Year, Kyle Rogers, was a four-year member of the Buccaneer football team. He played in 26 of a possible 30 career games. In 2019 and 2021 he was named MASCAC All-Conference Second Team for his performance on the field. In his career in the Bucs secondary he made 87 tackles, including a career-high in 2021 with 47, and had five career interceptions with four in 2019. As a two-time captain, Kyle was a leader for the Buccaneers on and off the field. For these reasons and many more is why he has been selected as the Male Athlete of the Year
