Lampros converted the PAT to make it 7-7 with 3:40 to play in the first quarter. Each team had another possession in the first but could not do anything with the ball, both drives ending in punts. The score remained 7-7 at the end of one.

The second quarter featured a whole lot of defense and punts by both teams, including a 60-yard punt by Lampros. With 2:47 on the clock in the second, Framingham took the ball downfield 61 yards in 10 plays. With 14 seconds on the clock on a 4th and 2 from the Bucs 19, Framingham sent out De Boni for the field goal. He hit from 36 to make the score 10-7 Rams heading in to the halftime break.

The Buccaneers next drive started off well; a 15-yard pass from Cann to Dan Campbell (Peru, MA) for 15 yards game them a first down. After a one-yard run by Mitchell, on 2nd and 9, Onujiogu found his way in to the Buccaneer backfield, sacking Cann forcing him to fumble the ball. Boyce picked up the ball there and took it to the end zone for the touchdown. Farley's kick was good and the Rams now led 23-14 with 21 minutes left in the game.
