Deschamps Scores Late Goal for Bucs in Loss to Lancers
BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- Women's soccer hosted Worcester State on Saturday for their final game of the 2024 season and on Senior Day for five graduating Bucs. Worcester had a 3-0 lead late until Brady Deschamps erased the clean sheet with a goal in the 89th minute. The Lancers went on to win, 3-1.

In the second half, Magierowski opened the scoring in the match in the 58th minute with a shot from outside the box in the middle of the field. 11 minutes later, Tatarczuk scored on a pass from Breuer in the middle of the field to give Worcester a 2-0 advantage. Magierowki scored her second in the 72nd minute with another shot from outside the box from the left side of the goal and gave her team a 3-0 lead. In the 89th minute, the Bucs were granted a free kick which Deschamps took and put the ball beautifully on goal and over the head of Gumienny to erase the shutout and make the score 3-1. Worcester went on to win by that same score.
