CAMBRIDGE, Mass -- The Maritime sailing team hosted the O'Toole Fleet Race on Saturday on Great Herring Pond and finished ninth in a field of 14 boats.

Maritime finished the day with 90 overall points in the event, 19 points short of URI for eighth and 16 points ahead of UMass Amherst in 10th.

The Bucs best finish was fifth in races one and seven, and they did not start two of the eight races.

Roger Williams claimed the top two spots with 21 and 31 points total. Salve Regina finished third in the event.
