WESTFIELD, Mass -- The Buccaneers women's cross country team competed in their final meet of the season on Saturday at the MASCAC Championships, hosted by Westfield State. Alyssa Grieco was the top finisher for Maritime as the team finished sixth overall.

Grieco finished 46th overall, 33rd in scoring as the first place finisher for the team coming across the finish line at 22:58.06. Chloe Arnold finished second for the Bucs in 52nd, 35th in scoring with a time of 23:25.12. Monica Martini rounded out the top three for the Buccaneers in 56th, 37th in scoring with a time of 24:06.86. Right behind Martini was Sure Bird in 57th, 38th in scoring, with a final time of 24:15.42. 

The Bucs finished sixth in the race as a team with 184 points. They were 14 points ahead of MCLA for seventh and 53 points behind Worcester State for fifth.
