Women's Cross Country Wins 17th Annual Fuller Invite
BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- The Buccaneer men's and women's cross country teams hosted the 17th Annual Travis J. Fuller Invitational on the campus of the Academy on Saturday morning. Led by first place finisher Alyssa Grieco, the Bucs took home first place in the event.
Grieco finished top with a time of 23:08, nine second ahead of the second place finisher. Gabby Giammasi was the next Buccaneer to come across in fifth place with a time of 23:51.00. Deidre Kelly finished in sixth behind Giammasi with a time of 24:25.00.
The Buccaneer took first, fifth, sixth, eighth and ninth in the race to win the event with 29 points.
The Buccaneers are at Westfield State for their next meet on Saturday, October 8th.
