NEWPORT, R.I. -- The Buccaneers Dinghy team competed in the Sister Esther Trophy hosted by Salve Regina over the weekend and finished 13th out of 17 teams in the regatta. 

Maritime earned 298 points over the events and had four top five finishes in races including two second place finishes. The Bucs were just two points behind Conn College for 12th place and beat out Coast Guard by 14 points. 

URI won the event with Yale in second and Brown in third.
